  • Since 2000, English teacher during summer vacations, for the Nalamdana Scholarship students chosen from economically disadvantaged communities.
  • 2006 – 2008, part time, Project coordinator for Sankriti Consultants, for architectural project management.
  • In 2008 – 2009, Research Coordinator, training and coordinating field research, for New Concept Information System’s baseline evaluation of AID India’s “Primary Education Intervention Program” in 12 districts in Tamil Nadu, including developing and writing the field manual for the project.
  • 2009 – 2011 at Nalamdana, an NGO that uses innovative and interactive art and craft to disseminate crucial messages on health, hygiene and social behaviour changes:
    • Field level activities to disseminate messages on Reproductive Health to adolescent Girls, through media, like performing arts, film, flip chart story,
    • Compiling matter and designing of posters, reports, abstracts and brochures across all projects and for international conferences
    • Program Officer for Nalamdana’s GOAL project, in collaboration with Naz Foundation, New Delhi
    • Programme Coordinator for material development project for “Top to Toe” pre-pubescent health booklets and peer education curriculum.
  • 2012 to present, docent (volunteer teacher involved with awareness and outreach programs) at the Madras Crocodile Bank, Centre for Herpetology Research
